As the annual paperwork pileup hits its peak, Planet Fitness is offering something a little less taxing: a free week of HydroMassage sessions to help people unwind, no calculators required.

From Saturday, April 12 through Saturday, April 19, both members and non-members can visit any of Planet Fitness’s 2,700-plus locations nationwide to take advantage of the limited-time offer. Traditionally reserved for PF Black Card® holders, the HydroMassage amenity is being made available to all in an effort to ease the stress that often accompanies tax season.

“Tax season can be stressful, and we want to take some of that added pressure away by offering Planet Fitness members and non-members nationwide the chance to relax and rejuvenate with a complimentary HydroMassage,” said Brian Povinelli, Chief Marketing Officer at Planet Fitness. “Our Judgement Free environment is the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the soothing benefits of a well-deserved massage during an often dreaded time of year.”

HydroMassage beds use heated, pressurized water jets that move across the body to relieve tension and support recovery. Users can tailor each session by adjusting the speed and intensity or focusing on specific muscle groups. The experience is promoted as both a stress reliever and a functional recovery tool, making it appealing for everyone from casual gym-goers to dedicated lifters.

“HydroMassage offers a great solution for muscle soreness and fatigue, so we are thrilled to bring the benefits of relaxation and stress relief to both Planet Fitness members and guests nationwide, especially those looking to unwind during tax season,” said Paul Lunter, CEO of WellnessSpace Brands, the company behind HydroMassage.

For fitness business operators, this type of promotion highlights how recovery services can double as both wellness outreach and brand engagement. It is a marketing move aimed not just at stress relief but at spotlighting the added value of in-club recovery options.

The campaign also offers a low-barrier way to bring new faces into clubs while subtly showcasing the premium amenities tied to the PF Black Card®. With recovery increasingly part of the fitness conversation, Planet Fitness is using tax season as a timely excuse to let consumers test drive its relaxation offerings without the fine print.
